Perspectives on Data Ethics – Panel Discussion
Let’s talk about data! Montgomery College’s Analytics & Insights team will host a panel discussion – Perspectives on Data Ethics – on March 6, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., at the ignITe Hub. Montgomery College students, faculty, staff, and administrators are invited and encouraged to attend.
Panelists will include:
- Theresa Anderson, Principal Research Associate, Urban Institute
- Kathryn Linehan, Research Scientist, University of Virginia (UVA) Biocomplexity Institute and Initiative
- Rachel Saidi, Professor of Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science/Data Science Program Director, Montgomery College
They will share their insights and expertise on the importance of ethics for data asset management. John Hamman, MC’s chief analytics and insights officer will offer opening remarks and introductions. Nadine Porter, deputy chief analytics and insights officer, will serve as moderator.
