Josephine “Joey” Tientcheu is a visionary technology leader, military officer, and entrepreneur who is revolutionizing how the Army National Guard approaches talent management. As the Founder and CEO of Brāv Buddies, Inc., she has pioneered an AI-powered platform that is transforming how the U.S. Army National Guard develops and retains talent. In her cyberspace operations role with the Federal Government, Joey brings over a decade of experience in information systems security oversight, cybersecurity compliance, and risk management frameworks assessment from global firms including PwC and EY. This dual expertise in both military and federal oversight uniquely positions her at the forefront of national security technological innovation.

A proud alumna of multiple prestigious institutions, Joey holds a master’s degree in data Analytics & Policy from Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from George Mason University, and an Honors Associate’s Degree from our very own Montgomery College. She is also currently pursuing her Doctorate in Engineering in Cybersecurity Analytics from George Washington University. Through her groundbreaking work with Brāv Buddies and her unique combination of military service, entrepreneurial vision, and academic achievement, Joey exemplifies the modern technology leader, dedicated to leveraging artificial intelligence to empower and develop the next generation of military talent.
