The ignITe Hub hosts a monthly Fireside Chat Career Series. Each month, we will host a trailblazing guest speaker to explore their unique tech career path. We will learn what sparked their interest in this area, meaningful experiences that impacted their journey and career advice for aspiring techies. Our featured guest speaker is Jennifer Bahrami, Founder & CEO of Strategy and Pitch who is a strategic advisor guiding organizations and leaders through a changing world. As former Chief Communications and Marketing Officer she has a clear vision, a deep understanding of stakeholder needs, and an ability to build trusting collaborative networks. Energized by a challenge, Jennifer has helped organizations such as global education leader International Baccalaureate, health technology firm CNSI, the World Bank, the UN Global Compact, Bank of America, and dozens of others build new programs, expand their reach, navigate drastic internal changes and weather multiple crises with unscathed reputations.  

While Jennifer’s education and early experience were not in technology she found her way into technology through work with the Federal Government shortly after beginning her consulting career. During her time working with both public and private sector technology leaders, Jennifer developed a keen sense of what drives innovation. The most successful technology leaders always listened deeply and found opportunities to put their people, customers, and stakeholders first. Jennifer has been a Montgomery County resident for 12 years, was a 2019 finalist in the Washington Exec STEM advocate of the year awards and currently serves on the Board of Learning Undefeated a nonprofit which is driving race and gender equity in STEM.
