Kimberly Bloch-Rincan

Biography
Kimberly Bloch-Rincan is a community organizer with over 20 years of experience in education/training and community outreach in the non-profit and educational sectors. She is the inaugural Director for the ignITe Hub which is a brand new initiative between MC, MCPS, Montgomery County Economic Development Council, and the County Government that will advance equitable access to STEM/IT careers for underrepresented students and promote local entrepreneurship opportunities in 21st century technology-learning environment.
Prior to joining Montgomery College, she spent over a decade working for Montgomery County Public Schools in the Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships serving as a Partnership Manager and the Student Service Learning Coordinator. Her responsibilities included coordinating large-scale volunteer initiatives, maintaining the district’s Student Service Learning Program, organizing parent engagement activities, and building community partnerships. Kimberly also has experience working with local non-profit organizations such as IMPACT Silver Spring, Catholic Volunteer Network, and Ayuda, Inc. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication and a master of arts degree in social justice and intercultural relations.
