The ignITe Hub is a collaborative space created to ignite and inspire innovation in Montgomery County. We strive to provide opportunities for Innovative Growth in Next Generation IT Empowerment through equity-focused programming centered on IT education, training, career, and entrepreneurship pathways.

Our tech-savvy Lab Coordinator will orient you to a device and is available for any questions while in the Hub.

Equipped with cutting-edge Apple MacBooks, iPads, and Hubble tables, the community is invited to use the Hub during Open Lab hours for:

• Completing projects for IT and STEM credit and non-credit courses
• A quiet space to study for certification exams
• Practice coding skills for app development
• Creative time for artistic tech projects using Apple apps
• Exploration of Apple applications and web-based, self-paced learning modules
• Participate in virtual tech conferences/training
• We also offer a sleek conference room and an Apple TV with virtual meeting capabilities that is perfect for study groups and entrepreneur collaborative meetings.

Each of our 30 MacBooks and 30 iPads includes the Microsoft suite, Swift Playground app, and other Apple apps to assist you with all of your technology needs.

Additional Notes:

• Masks are required in the Hub
• Walk-ins are welcome and pre-registration is encouraged
• Please bring a USB storage device to save documents and personal earphones for audio needs
• Youth under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
• The Hub follows the Montgomery College policies, procedures, and regulations established for the acceptable uses of College resources, including Information Technology
