The ignITe Hub hosts a monthly Fireside Chat Career Series. Each month, we will host a trailblazing guest speaker to explore their unique tech career path. We will learn what sparked their interest in this area, meaningful experiences that impacted their journey and career advice for aspiring techies. This month’s event is held in conjunction with Montgomery College’s Annual Equity Week!

Our featured guest speaker is Dr. Mason Mason, Education Leadership and Learning Executive at Apple who currently serves as a trusted advisor to some of the largest school districts in America, including NYC, LA, and Chicago—helping drive meaningful change and transformation in their learning environments. Prior to joining Apple, Mason spent over ten years in secondary public education as a teacher and campus administrator. He received his B.A. in English and Education from The Ohio State University and his M.Ed and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University. Mason is passionate about the intersections of liberal arts and technology and closing the digital divide for underrepresented populations.
